The Rugby Dominators Ball System: How Every Tackle, Try, and Assist Contributes to Your Victory
Welcome to the Ball System of Rugby Dominators, where every action on the field can lead to glory (or setbacks)! This is the heart of your fantasy rugby experience — the way we calculate points for each player based on their real-world performance. Whether it’s a perfectly timed tackle, a game-changing try, or a vital assist, every action counts in your quest to dominate the leaderboard.
In Rugby Dominators, the goal is simple: build the best fantasy rugby team by selecting players who will score the most points through their on-field actions. Here’s how it all works:
How Points Are Earned:
- Tries Scored: 10 points
A crucial action that earns big points! Every time a player crosses the try line, you score 10 points. - Conversions Kicked: 5 points
Successful conversions after tries add 5 points to the tally, making kickers just as valuable as try-scorers. - Penalties Kicked: 3 points
When a player successfully kicks a penalty, they earn 3 points for your fantasy team. - Tackles Made: 1 point per tackle
Each tackle made by your player will earn a point. Defensive players are just as valuable as attack-focused ones! - Assists: 4 points
Players who assist in setting up a try are credited with 4 points for their smart play. - Line Breaks: 6 points
Breaking the defensive line and creating attacking opportunities is rewarded with 6 points. - Metres Gained (per 100m): 1 point
Every 100 meters a player gains during a match translates to 1 point for your team. Keep an eye on those ball carriers! - Try Savers (Defensive Actions): 7 points
A try-saver — whether through an outstanding tackle or a game-changing defensive move — is awarded 7 points for its importance. - Clean Breaks: 5 points
A clean break through the defense means 5 extra points in your favor. These are the highlight moments that can win games! - Offloads: 3 points
When a player passes the ball to a teammate in a way that keeps the attack flowing, they earn 3 points for the assist.
How Points Are Subtracted:
- Yellow Card: -3 points
A yellow card is a costly mistake. When a player is sent to the sin bin, you lose 3 points. - Red Card: -8 points
A player sent off the field with a red card brings a massive penalty — 8 points off your total. - Turnovers Conceded: -1 point per turnover
Every time a player loses possession or makes a mistake leading to a turnover, you lose 1 point. - Missed Tackles: -1 point per missed tackle
Defensive mistakes are penalized, so missing a tackle could cost you valuable points. - Dropped Balls: -2 points
Handling errors such as dropped passes can turn the game in the opponent’s favor, and it costs you 2 points.
The key to winning in Rugby Dominators is finding a balance between attacking and defensive players. A high-performing player who contributes both defensively and offensively will earn more points and boost your chances of climbing the leaderboard.
